Chuks Igumbor is a seasoned Insurance practitioner with over twenty-five (25) years experience in the insurance industry. He had his first degree from University of Benin, with a Bachelor degree in Geography. He is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FCIIN) and has an MBA degree in Marketing Management from Lagos State University (LASU).
He has held various positions in the Insurance industry. He was the General Manager (Technical) of Afri-Ovis Insurance Brokers Limited. He rose through the cadre to the position of General Manager at Zenith General Insurance Company Limited overseeing the activities of Underwriting, Claims and Reinsurance departments of the company until his recent appointment as the CEO of Zenith Life Assurance Company Limited. He is also a Director of Venus Medicare.
He has attended various Underwriting and Risk Management courses, both locally and internationally.
Elaine was a pioneer staff of Zenith Capital – establishing the fixed income desk, asset management desk and corporate finance desk, joining in 2006. She rose to become the Head of Corporate Strategy and Advisory at Zenith Bank Plc, providing advice directly to the Board of Directors. She served on the Investment Committee as an Investment Strategist for the Zenith Bank range of mutual funds, which was awarded the Best Asset Manager in Nigeria in 2008 and 2009 due to having the highest returns in the industry. In 2010 she co-founded Quantum Capital Partners LP which manages a diverse range of assets in the Oil and Gas, Hospitality, Financial Services, Education and Mobile Communications. Elaine is a non-executive director of Zenith Capital, Zenith Securities and Zenith Asset Management. As part of the Board of Directors of Zenith Life Assurance, she was instrumental in closing the landmark acquisition by Prudential Plc. She holds a seat on the board of Zenith General Insurance, Nigeria’s most profitable insurance company.
She was one of the pioneer members of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association’s Energy Council. Elaine served on the Finance Committee of St Saviours School, Ikoyi in 2016 and 2017.
Elaine holds a PDP in Actuarial Management and a BSc in Actuarial Science from the Cass Business School, London. She is a member of the Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and Applications.Nicholas Oliver Holder has recently been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer for Prudential Africa with oversight for External Affairs, Finance, Legal & Governance, Actuary, HR and Risk & Compliance. He was most recently the Chief Financial Officer for Prudential Indonesia (PLAI).
He has been working in the Prudential Group since 2009 serving as Chief Financial Officer for Prudential Vietnam, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Corporate Development Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Prudential Indonesia.
Since 2014, he worked in Prudential Indonesia (PLAI), Prudential’s most profitable company in Asia. I am since March 2018 EVP, Chief Financial Officer (and before Chief Operating Officer and Chief Corporate Development Officer) and Member of the Board of Directors.
From 2009-2014, he worked as Chief Financial Officer for Prudential Vietnam (PVA), the largest local life insurance company with a then 35% share of total premium.
From 2011 to 2014, he was the Chairman of the British Business Group in Vietnam
He sits on several Boards in the Prudential Group and has represented Prudential in various external forums such as the British Chamber of Commerce.
Abioye Oyetunji is the Chief Financial Officer of Prudential Africa. In this role he is responsible for all aspects of finance and actuarial across the continent, including financial reporting, forecasting, business planning, management of financial risk and financial governance. He has experience leading various sized, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver strategic and operational financial objectives.
Prior to this appointment, Abi has been the Chief Actuary and previously Director of Finance at Prudential Life Thailand, Bangkok. Prior to that he worked at Prudential’s Head Office in Hong Kong, where he oversaw Financial Planning & Analysis and Management Reporting. He spent eleven years working as a consultant for PwC primarily in London but with extended stays in Hong Kong, Zurich, and New York.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the United Kingdom
David Nutman is currently CEO at Prudential Cambodia, responsible for all in-country activity. He joined Prudential Cambodia on 1 November 2016. From 1 April 2017 he also assumed management responsibility for Prudential Laos. His prior role was as Chief Compliance Officer at Prudential Corporation Asia (PCA) the regional head office in Hong Kong, with overall responsibility for the compliance and anti-money laundering functions covering all Asian Insurance operations. He joined PCA in January 2005.
Prior to PCA David spent 3 years in Prudential’s London Group Head Office within the Group Legal & Compliance function and prior to that 6 years managing operations for the Prudential UK insurance business in London/Reading. Before joining the Prudential Group in April 1996, David spent 2 years at the then senior UK financial services regulator, the Securities and Investment Board (now the PRA/FCA).
A 36 year life insurance industry veteran, David started his career in various sales and marketing roles firstly at Equity & Law (now part of AXA) before moving to Royal Sun Alliance (now known as RSA). David is a long-qualified Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurer.
